How to Use the Android App
1. ACCEPT “TERMS OF USE”
If you agree, tap “Agree and complete profile” button.
2. PROFILE REGISTRATION
Choose Facebook or Weibo to register. You can skip this part depending on your SIM.
3. “ALLOW” SETTINGS
Allow “Ponta JAPAN Wi-Fi” to make and manage phone calls. Allow "Ponta JAPAN Wi-Fi" to access this device's location.
How to Use the iOS App

You can use “Wi2”,“Wi2_club”,“Wi2_free”,“UQ_Wi-Fi” “wifi_square”, “Wi2premium” and “Wi2premium_club”.

DO I NEED TO SET THE WIRELESS LAN TO USE WI2 WI-FI?
No, you don’t.
*In the case of iOS, you will need to download and install the profile for Ponta JAPAN Wi-Fi. You can obtain it by using the wizard or from “Install profile” on the set-up screen. -
THE RECOMMENDED INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA AROUND THE CURRENT WI-FI SPOT IS NOT DISPLAYED.
Turn on the GPS of your terminal. Information about the area may not be displayed properly if the precision of the terminal’s location information is low. Restart the app if it does not improve after a while.

It supports five languages: English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, and Thai. If the language set in your terminal is not included in these languages, the information will be displayed in English.

No, it will only work on iOS devices running iOS 8.0 or later, or devices running Android OS version 4.1 or later.

You will need to download and install the app and complete the wizard in a location with an internet connection.
We recommend that you download the app before you leave your country for Japan.

WILL ALL THE CONNECTION HISTORIES BE SAVED ON THE TIMELINE IN THE APP?
It will be saved for one month. After one month, it will be deleted in the order of the time and date when they were received, starting from the oldest one.

Personal information (information that enables the identification of the specific individual) will not be used or leaked, because the information is converted into statistical information.
